First Person form Period 5!!!!!!! Holden Facebook

As we all know, we have a project on Catcher in the Facebook. Does anyone have any creative ideas that they would like to share with the rest of us? If so, thanks for your support.

I'll start with 2 of my ideas that I would not mind if people chose to use.

1. His networks are Pencey Prep; Whooton; New York City, New York; and/or, "Idk I'll probally get kicked out of my new network anyway so why post it."

2. He has like tons of FB friends because of all the schools he's been kicked out of.

Frame Story

A piece of literature that i think qualifies as a Frame Story would be The Notebook. I think this is a frame story because the beginning of the book sets the mood as we find out what is going on. The lady is in an old peoples home while the story is being read to her and she can't remember any of it. We then later on find out that the girl in the story is actually her. This sort of relates to The Catcher in the Rye because there both in some type of institution and they have flashbacks about the lives the used to live.

Framework Example

Would How I Live Now - Meg Rossof be a framework story?

The reason that I think it is a framework story is the fact that the outside framwork or the begining of the story set a mood of the main character, Daisy. We find out right from the beginning that she isn't the smartest girl, but, is great around people. We see this throughout the inner framework in the middle of the story because when she is with her cousin in the woods, she gets along with her very well and treats her like a sister, but, her cousin is the one who finds food.
